ABOUT
US
UConn Tap Club is a student-run organization that promotes the expansion of tap dancing skills. We welcome all levels of tap dancers, from newcomers to 10+ years of experience, and require no auditions to join.
Starting in 2004, UConn Tap Club, previously a subset of UConn Tap, began as an informal group of dancers who wanted to tap purely for fun. Now, we have expanded to have student-led technique training and an annual showcase where any member can choreograph a dance number. We meet once a week with the occasional extra practice closer to our showcase.
Our goal as UConn Tap Club is not only to become better dancers, but to create a tight-knit family where we can dance our worries away!
